Located in the middle of Steigstrasse with a great view of the castle. Safe in any weather, lots of shady spots and rain protection. Service very attentive and brisk. What I have observed, even four-legged friends receive a fresh bowl of water in the heat 👍 Delicious cakes. Large selection. Personally, I like the cheese poppy seeds best. A wide range in the store. Gin, whiskey and other spirits from Lake Constance. The advice and recommendation, from the owner very nice and competent. Meersburger wine and small treats. Homemade pralines are the best seller. Always my pleasure.

Versatile bistro / café directly on the way to Meersburg. We were there for a lunch snack, there was a lot of choice of small lunch dishes. The price / performance ratio was adjusted to the location ok. My Maultaschen were well prepared, but I wasn't sure if they weren't from a well-known TK brand. It's a shame when you look forward to original Swabian Maultaschen. My partner's ragout fin was homemade and very tasty.

The Cafe Keck was an asset to our vacation. We felt so comfortable that we stopped by every day. Delicious cakes and the Meersburger balls were a poem.

I don't recommend this cafe. As I wrote last here, I can by no means understand the price of the coffee - even after taking into account additional costs and wages. You should take the customer's point of view and ask yourself whether you would spend € 5 on a cup of coffee yourself. For me a definite NO. No matter how “jumbo” the cup is. The question here directly to the operator: How do cafes in Germany's most expensive cities manage to keep prices well below their price level? There the wages and utilities are even higher ... And if coffee has been the same price for six years, but wages and ancillary costs have risen in the last six years, are you telling your customers between the lines that you have SIGNIFICANTLY overestimated the last few years? I don't fully understand that ... Now we've talked about the price. Now let's talk about performance. The coffee, seen on its own, was certainly not worth 5 €. Anyone who prides themselves on how expensive the coffee machine was to buy as a justification has, in my opinion, no idea of ​​the subject matter. The best and most expensive coffee machine in the world can also be set incorrectly or you can use the wrong beans or, or, or. There are reasons why you can distinguish good coffee from bad coffee, because buying an expensive machine is not enough ... The fact is: I was sitting in the café, the coffee was incredibly bitter (tip: maybe check the grind) and - as also described - it was bitterly cold and uncomfortably bustling. My partner's cappuccino was like from another time. There was stiff "foam" on cappuccinos in the 90s. I am not saying that every café has to offer deluxe cappuccino, but that would be my expectation for the price to be halfway concerned with what an appropriate foam should look like. All in all a really bad café experience, which, due to the horrendous price and the fact that the owners only argue why bad reviews are unfair, moved me to only give one star.

I don't recommend this cafe. Price-performance ratio is terrible. It was cold in the cafe and there was a pull. The door on the men's toilet is stuck. Soap for hand washing was empty (and that during Corona times), no card payment possible. Distances regarding corona cannot be kept due to the dense seating. Walk-in customers of the associated sales create a restless and hectic atmosphere.

If you are looking for a very, very expensive and very bad café, this is the right place for you. Cafe is really, really bad. € 4.90 for a vending machine café. Tourists shed

Great service, great staff, delicious cakes 🥧, the best homemade chocolates I've ever eaten in my entire life. The view of the castle is a dream, the local spirits are highly recommended as well as the gin and whiskey. Definitely a must when you are in Meersburg. 😊

Quality is OK, but you can't pay by card.

I liked this place last year, but got turned down this year because one still cannot pay by card. We're in 2020, this should be a standard, and this year cashless is even recommended. This is a no-go!

A cafe with a lunch menu near the castle. The food was good and in line with the value for money. A nice terrace with sun protection. Unfortunately, the wasps think that's a good thing too. The condition is very friendly and accommodating. The waiting time for the food was short. Gladly again.

The lady closed 10 minutes before the shop closed and more or less escaped. That we wanted to buy something didn't seem to interest her.

Very nice cafe. Best service. This hot day, the waitress met us in the door with a bowl of water for the dog. 5 stars. Also located cozy in the hillside by the old castle.

Fast and friendly service. Ambience outside is ok. Cake unfortunately only standard and with 4.10 € very expensive.

🎂 cake tasted amazingly fresh as the sponge was soft and tender. Mr Keck himself was working behind the counter as the cafe was really crowded. There are limited seats but you can wait your turn. Truffles are also sold here.

The Cafe is not big and has just a few tables inside. They serve really delicious home made cakes and the service wasnalso good. The chocolate home made cannon balls are also a good choice.

It was rainy day, and we were having there coffee, we paid, and were waiting for a friend of us, who went for a while to bathroom, waitress came to us, and told us (in english) to leave the place, coz people are waiting for a table, although there were 3 free tables inside, and more on the balcony under the umbrellas and noone was actually waiting there, when we said that we just want to wait one minute for our friend, to be back from bathroom and then we go, he started to shout at us, that we cannot, and "es geht nicht, es geht nicht". It was the first time in my life that i met with such a mean and loutish behaviour in the coffe shop.
